In this age of computers, ebooks and ipads where time flies by at an amazing rate, we often do not find time to share thoughts and words. We, in the poetry & prose group, like to take an afternoon once a month where we sit back and listen to beautiful, moving, amusing and often thought provoking words, written by famous and little known poets and authors.

The format of the meetings is that members bring writing from all genres, some serious and many fun. We share and discuss our love of poetry and prose with each other.

This isn't a writing group, but if any member would like to share their own writing with us, this would be a very welcome treat.
