We are offering a visit to Hornsea Inshore Rescue, a local independent lifeboat charity. During the visit, guests will spend couple of hours in the presence of amazing people - all volunteers - who save others who have generally done daft things in the sea.
This will be followed by a fish and chip lunch.

Since they began in 1994, Hornsea Inshore Rescue have been involved in saving countless lives along the East Yorkshire coastline. All the crew are unpaid volunteers, and they receive no funding from the Government or the RNLI. All donations come from dedicated fundraisers, the local community, and the support of their education and experience patrons.
The cost is £20 per person (this is for the whole experience and regardless of meal choices). The meal consists of fish, chips, peas or beans, bread & butter and tea/coffee. Special dietary needs can be catered for including, a gluten free option but this needs to be ordered in advance of the visit.
Meet at 10:45 am at Hornsea Inshore Rescue, Hornsea Burton Road. HU18 1TJ. Participants must make their own way there. Free Parking is available on site.
Tickets will be available at our April, May and June Monthly Meetings.
Email Linnia Khemdoudi for more details.
Based on past experience this will be a fascinating experience - and who doesn't like a fish and chip lunch at the seaside!
