The Beverley & District u3a AGM will be held on Thursday 18 June 2026 at 2pm at the Memorial Hall, Beverley. All members are encouraged to attend. Follow this link for the 2026 AGM agenda, and this for the minutes of the 2025 AGM.
If you are unable to come to the meeting, you may nominate the secretary Nadine Tull to act as your proxy and vote on the motions on your behalf. If you would like to do this, please write to Nadine, confirm that she should be your proxy at the AGM, and let her know how you would like to vote.
This short meeting will be followed by Philip Cain who will give a talk on “Barrow to Baghdad and Back Again”. Philip's work has taken him to many countries around the world, the last ten years of which were spent in the Middle East. He will recount how this took him from Barrow-in-Furness to Baghdad.
The usual refreshments will follow the talk.
