About Beverley & District u3a
- Established in 2000 for people living in the picturesque market town of Beverley, East Yorkshire and in surrounding villages
- Lively, vibrant & friendly group, more than 800 members.
- Monthly meetings with a speaker, to which all members are invited
- 50 special interest groups
- Indoor activities embrace art, arts & crafts, current affairs, dining, history, board games, quizzes, languages, poetry & literature, and music.
- Outdoors activities include cycling, natural history, sport, and various walking groups

Monthly Meeting
Our next monthly meeting will be held at 2:00 pm at the Beverley Memorial Hall, 73-75 Lairgate, HU17 8HN. The meetings comprises a talk by Joanne Aston on Shackleton’s Stowaways (unexpected travellers on the Trans-Antarctic Expedition of 1914). the talk will as usual be followed by tea/coffee and biscuits and the chance to chat with fellow members.

u3a Festival 26. Following the success of the first national u3a festival held in 2024, the event will return to the University of York next year from 1st July to 3rd July. You can follow news about the festival here
